Slimming World’s SP Plan – definitely requires effort

Starting my second week now on Slimming World’s new SP plan and I don’t know about you but I certainly get more lazy towards the end of the week, maybe it’s just tiredness, but I really cannot be bothered to cook.

I ended up with another dinner of scrambled egg, toast, beans and Quorn sausages oh and don’t forget the Dairylea triangle! I am also having huge cravings for sweets food, I have completely cut it out, anything cake, chocolate or sweet related I simply don’t have as I know even if I have the smallest of bites it will kick start my sweet tooth and instantly I am going to want more.

Round 2!

Instead I find myself having more and more apples and beans to kill the craving. Who would’ve thought that a tin of baked beans tasted so sweet that it would replace the want for chocolate!

Cravings however aren’t stopping there as my word I am missing pizza! Didn’t help when I received a message from my boyfriend whilst at work today showing me an offer of buy one get one free on a pizza place we used to always buy from. A small part of me thought ‘well weigh in was yesterday maybe I can get away with it and have a little bit’ but I remained strong and opted for my all-day breakfast combination instead, and honestly feel so much better for it.

I love baked beans

I’m going to get organised over the weekend and make myself a large batch of bolognese, then I can freeze portions of it so when I do get in from work next week and I can’t be bothered I have something in reserve which I can have within minutes by just shoving it in the microwave.

Going to have a good read of my Slimming World book too and try out some of the recipes they offer as can’t have Quorn sausages all the time.

  1. I’ve not found it *too* bad, but i’ve noticed I go for unreasonably stuffed to i’m-so-hungry-I-could-eat-the-dog starving.
    I’ve been having my 2nd heb of a mid afternoon. I’ve never eaten at that time before and now i’m a bit scared i’ve formed a dodgy habit πŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆ
    Weigh on Monday so hoping for a decent loss x


      1. Id it is synned you can have it. If its free you, bizarrely, can’t.
        I’ve not found the new plan too complicated, mistake with the sausages and also accidentally ate sweetcorn, haha.

  2. Like do sp but u can’t eat potato s and pasta or rice or banana 🍌 but u can eat any other fruit ??? And ideas on meals pls thanks


    1. I had a lot of omelettes, and added onion, courgette and tomatoes to it.

      Had a lot of chicken salads too or chicken with loads of vegetables.

      I did miss pasta and potatoes but it was only for a week and chicken salads for lunch wasn’t too bad.
